Role Overview
We seek an experienced Senior Consultant to join our High
Reliability Care (HRC) practice, focusing on Clinical
Transformation. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in
regulatory compliance, quality, and familiarity with accrediting
agencies and CMS Conditions of Participation.
The Senior Consultant will deliver complex assignments related to
Accreditation/Regulatory Compliance, Quality, Patient Safety, and
Clinical Documentation Improvement. They will play a key role in
executing client engagements and enhancing our firm's reputation
for quality.
We are looking for candidates available to start in June 2025, with
interviews in May.
Responsibilities
- Engagement Management: Coordinate and oversee project work,
develop project plans, prepare for assessments, gather
documentation, and liaise with clients.
- Perform engagement procedures: Identify issues, review
evidence, analyze business processes, and prepare reports.
- Conduct interviews: Understand client conditions, risks, and
controls, and document findings.
- Develop issues and recommendations: Use judgment to identify
and document findings.
- Communicate results: Prepare reports and presentations for
management.
- Ensure quality: Maintain high standards for all projects and
deliverables.
- Business development: Contribute to proposals and participate
in professional networking.
- Thought leadership: Improve methodologies and contribute
content like blogs and white papers.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Informatics, or Health
Management/Sciences.
- Preferred certifications: CPHQ and/or CIC.
- Knowledge of accrediting agencies and CMS Conditions of
Participation.
- 5+ years in healthcare consulting and hospital/health system
experience in compliance and quality.
- Strong professionalism, analytical skills, and team
orientation.
- Excellent report writing, proposal development, and gap
analysis skills.
- Ability to develop presentations and lead client
discussions.
- Ability to prioritize, work collaboratively, and manage
multiple deadlines.
- Leadership skills to manage teams and schedules.
- Strong communication skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 80%.
- Availability to start in June 2025.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range: $120,000 - $160,000, plus potential discretionary bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, HSA, FSA, insurance, 401(k) match, paid time off, wellness stipend, and voluntary benefits.
