Novaspect, Inc., an Emerson Impact Partner, the global leader of automation systems and solutions, is currently offering an opportunity for a Pressure Protection Inside Sales Representative to join our fast paced, customer oriented inside sales team in our Schaumburg, IL location. The successful candidate will assist in all stages of the sales cycle.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Proactively engage customers to sell Novaspect products and solutions.Develop technical solutions to customer specifications and requirements using products and services provided by Novaspect.Articulate specialized features and benefits of our products to our customers.Understand and implement pricing strategies, marketing and account management plans with Outside Sales and other operations team members.Prepare quotations and bid proposals.Follow up on all quote opportunities with customers to close sales.Troubleshoot customer technical questions; provide aftermarket product support.Develop customer relationships to earn status as their trusted advisor.Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on changes and developments in products and industries.Actively participate with team members to achieve company goals.Competencies:Mechanical aptitude and ability to develop working knowledge of Novaspect products in valve process applications.Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining composure and a positive attitude.Quickly embraces, learns and applies new technology and/or procedures.Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills.Proven ability to build and support teamwork.Highly accountable and internally motivated by challenges.

Qualifications:Bachelors or Associates degree in a relevant field required.5+ years inside sales or related experience.Previous work experience developing industrial quotations is preferred.Previous work experience with valve products is preferred.High computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn internal business systems).Physical Requirements:Ability to work extended hours on a computerPay:Cash compensation potential: $65,000 - $85,000K (includes base salary & bonus)Benefits: Recognized with a Top Employee Benefit Plan Award in 2020, below you will find our outstanding total rewards package when you join our team including:Generous paid time off; starting at 15 vacation days, 10 holidays, and personal time off401K with 6% company match Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP) Excellent health & wellness benefitsStudent debt & tuition reimbursementSchedule:7:30am - 4:30pm or 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday thru Friday Remote work available up to 2 days per week after 6 months of employmentPI201669780
