Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1 years
School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet
these qualifications will not be considered. A middle school in
Elmhurst, IL is seeking a dedicated School Social Worker to provide
essential support to students, families, and staff throughout the
current school year. This contract position offers the opportunity
to make a meaningful impact by addressing students social,
emotional, and behavioral needs in a dynamic educational setting.
Key Responsibilities: - Conduct individual and group counseling
sessions to support student well-being - Collaborate with teachers,
administrators, and families to develop intervention plans -
Connect students and families with community resources and services
- Monitor student progress and adjust support strategies as needed
- Facilitate crisis intervention and provide guidance on mental
health issues - Maintain accurate documentation and comply with
confidentiality requirements Preferred Qualifications: - Masters
degree in Social Work or related field with licensure or
eligibility for licensure as a School Social Worker - Experience
working with middle school students in a school or related setting
- Knowledge of social-emotional learning practices and mental
health supports - Strong communication and collaboration skills -
Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases effectively
Location:Elmhurst, IL Middle School Setting This role provides the
