Apogem. Role Overview: As a Fund Financing professional, you will
play an important role in Apogem Capital’s Fund Financing team and
report into the Senior Director of Private Credit Operations & Fund
Finance. In this role, you will be bridging the gap between the
private credit team and the credit operations team and will be
responsible for management of financing facilities supporting
various investment vehicles, including a new evergreen commingled
fund. What You’ll Do: You will be responsible for managing
financing solutions for Apogem Capitals investment structures and
funds, including subscription-backed credit facilities, bespoke
investment specific financing solutions, credit facilities for
evergreen investment structures, interval funds, BDCs, and
implementation of letters of credit. Your responsibilities will
include the following: Assist senior team members with deal
structuring and negotiating financings across different products
and asset classes Day-to-day management of leverage facilities,
including borrowing base calculations, preparation of borrowing
notices, reportable events, and assigned values for underlying
assets Utilize financing facilities and capital calls to manage
liquidity for new asset purchases and draws on unfunded commitments
Work on supporting the asset allocation team by way of liquidity
and strategy Work with the portfolio managers to develop bespoke
financing solutions Work with the credit operations team and
finance team on reporting/compliance Work with various teams
internally regarding capital availability Portfolio analytics
Assist with weekly management reports and analyze investment
finance Formal and informal training of internal stakeholders Lead
team initiatives and proactively identify areas for improvement
What You’ll Bring: Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced
certification or degree a plus (e.g., CPA, CFA, CAIA, MBA/JD) 7 yrs
of fund financing and/or capital markets experience in a leading
bank, medium sized to large Private Credit Investment Management
firm or BDC Exceptional understanding of the fund financing markets
including understanding of various products (e.g. subscription
lines, NAV facilities) and execution processes Strong analytical
and negotiation skills Self-driven team player with a strong desire
to make meaningful contributions and a positive impact Strong
project management skills and ability to work under pressure
Intellectual curiosity with strong analytical and problem-solving
skills Preferred Skills: Network in the private market community,
among lenders, GPs and law firms Understanding and negotiating
experience of facility documentation across multiple asset classes
and markets (Americas, Europe, Asia)
