commercial projects Description Prepare comprehensive and accurate
cost estimates for industrial and commercial construction projects,
utilizing industry-leading estimating software and techniques.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to
understand project scope, specifications, and design requirements.
Conduct detailed material and labor takeoffs, ensuring accurate
quantification of project resources. Analyze and evaluate
subcontractor bids, negotiating favorable terms and pricing.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction materials, labor
costs, and market trends to ensure competitive and profitable
estimates. Participate in pre-construction meetings, providing
expertise and insights to support project planning and execution.
Continuously improve estimating processes and techniques,
implementing best practices and leveraging advanced technologies.
Work closely with the business development team to support proposal
preparation and client presentations. Profile Bachelor's degree in
Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or
equivalent work experience. Minimum of 3 years of estimating
experience in industrial and commercial construction projects.
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building codes,
and industry best practices. Proficiency in estimating software
such as On-Screen Takeoff, Timberline, or similar platforms.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye
for detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the
ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with self-performed trade work, particularly concrete,
structural steel, and specialized industrial trades. Ability to
multitask, prioritize tasks, and work well under pressure to meet
deadlines. Job Offer Competitive base salary ranging from $90,000
to $115,000, based on experience and qualifications. Comprehensive
